Hell, I accidently started a BLM riot outside of a Publix once after I took a knee when it poked me while putting back one of those Cadillac sized kiddie carts. I look like fucking Tim Tebow in my local Aldi's bread aisle because of that one stupid little piece. The sharp tip isn't an issue 98% of the time but that other 2% when that tip pokes my disgusting fucking love-handle sweet Jesus, Sometimes I just have to stop what I'm doing and take a knee. Where the belt IS uncomfortable for me is on the end of the double back adjustment loop where the material is cut, it's sharp as FUCK. There was one occurrence where I overtightened the belt before I left the house and after sitting for about an hour drive in the car, I could tell it needed re-adjustment but it was fine for the rest of the day after that. Some competitors make their belts very thick in comparison which always ends up rubbing and causing agitation a few hours into the day especially if you are in and out of the car a lot, Applied Gear's design has mostly gotten rid of that issue. The EDC Hybrid belt is actually one of the more comfortable belts that I've worn in this style, I do have a bit of a gut that sits on my belt and haven't experienced much discomfort in the few weeks I've been testing.
